It was damn HOT outside today!! We set up the garage sale stuff about 7 am and I was already sweating. We did pretty good, not as good as I'd hoped though. We made about $100 or a little more. The daughter wants to set it up again tomorrow and see if we can't make a few more bucks. If she does all the work...I'm all for it.
I got a bit sunburned on my face..even though I was sitting under an umbrella...and my knees got sunburned. Knees?? WTF???
I knitted all day on my sisters Sans Kitty Ears Hat and am almost finished. I just have to do the last I-Cord on the last ear flap. Will finish that up for her tonight. Not that there was any rush..she won't wear it until winter. She wanted one to wear under her motorcycle helmet when she and her husband go riding. I think I'll cast on the second cloverleaf sock tonight when I finish the hat. I need to make a quilt block or two for the birthday block swap..but I think I'll work on those tomorrow. One of them is actually due tomorrow..OOOPS!! I'm late. I think I'll make that one and a couple more so I won't be behind. I only have 6 more to do to finish up the year. I think I'll do that and be done with it! Tomorrow will be quilt up a storm day. Maybe I can find some inspiration by then.
