I took a period natural dyes class on Friday. It was about 4 hours in the hot Texas sun in 90+ weather over hot fires, but I had a great time. Here's a few photos.

The yarn and fiber that I dyed. Left to right. Angora dyed with cochineal. Skeins of wool, silk and cotton dyed with cochineal. Angora dyed with madder. Skeins of wool, silk and cotton dyed with cochineal. Angora dyed with black walnut and silk, cotton and wool skeins dyed with black walnut.
