Confessions of a sock addict....

I started THESE socks last nite. I first started them with the 36 stitch cast on and they looked sooo tiny. I knitted a bit to see and then tried the cuff on my two year old and they fit...but tight. Decided to frog them and go up a few. I cast on 42 stitches and did the one extra purl per pattern repeat. I actually think they look better that way. They have more stretch to them too. I think they will be fine for a 4 year old girl with size 6 feet.

I'm not sure about the heel construction in this..I'm used to doing short rows. I hope that I don't have to frog it and do a short row. Its this part I really have a problem with.

"*Slip 1, k1, k2 tog, k1, turn.
Slip 1, p2, p2 tog, p1, turn.*
Continue in this manner (between *'s, adding one more stitch each time) until all stitches are being worked. 10 sts remain. "

does that mean k1, k2 tog, ki turn then p2 p2 toge p1 turn then k3 k2 tog k1 turn??

I think it does..so that Is what I am going to do. If anyone has any suggestions or if that isnt the right idea..please feel free to let me know.

On another note...my tea from Adagio Teas is on the truck for delivery!! Yay for fed-ex tracking!!

If anyone reading likes tea and would like a $5 gift certificate, please let me know. :)
